Can you begin to look all starry eyed at a robot?

Could costumed robots one day meander the boulevards of Walt Disney World?

Another patent application from Disney (DIS) recommends it’s something the affiliation has considered.

The report says Disney is making robots, including “humanoid robots,” that have been “adjusted for touchy contact and likewise cooperation with a human.”

“To physically interface with youngsters,” the recording says, “the creators understood that the robot ought to be delicate and solid.”

The patent application says Disney has beginning at now made a “bit, toy-sized” human-looking model, which was made by techniques for 3D printing and encased in touchy material. Besides, it was likely in context of a celebrated far and wide Disney character.

“This present robot’s style and other motions…were showed after a given enabled character (e.g., a character from a vivified film or framework show up),” the patent application says.

Disney declined to remark on the patent, and there’s no word on when or if the affiliation will really give the robots something to do at its parks.
