Requirements for studying abroad

Nowadays most students are preferring to study abroad. The ratio of students going to studying abroad is increasing day by day. Looking at the benefits of international degree it is highly preferable. As it develops lots of languages, interpersonal skills. It also adds up in CV and opens the gate for a lot of good opportunities.

But applying abroad for studies is not so easy. You must fulfil all the requirements before going. There are many requirements you must fulfil they may vary from the country where you are going and university where you are applying.

Basic requirements for applying abroad studies are mentioned below.

  • Language tests:

The prior requirement before you go abroad is a language test also called IELTS. Australia, UK, Canada, Germany and united states universities require this test before admission. You must study well and score 6.5-7 bands for getting into well reputable institutes.

  • Academic record:

Your academic record must meet the requirement of the university where you have applied. If you are applying for an undergraduate program you must have good matric, O level and intermediate, A level grades. Whereas if you are applying for a master’s degree you must have a good GPA above 2.5 to get into good institutes.

  • Sentence statement:

A sentence statement or statement of purpose is required before applying. It is a must require document. It must be accurate and precise as universities accept your admission after accepting this. You must describe all your interests, past experiences i.e. internship or job if any. You must describe your future aspects regarding the course you have applied for. It must be brief. You can take help from your professors or any consultant agencies.

  • Bank statement:

Bank statement tells about how much money is in your account and tells how much money is withdrawn.  Some countries require a special account for the student so that they can meet the university fee and accommodation.

 

 

  • Health record:

Almost all universities require a health certificate for safety and security purpose. Besides physical health, they also ask and require a mental health certificate.
