Mumbai: One individual was killed and a senior citizen injured when a portion of a single-storey tenement collapsed in Kurla right here on Wednesday morning, officers stated.

The incident occurred on the construction of Pathan Chawl in Qureshi Nagar of the congested Kurla suburb, stated the BMC Catastrophe Management.

A 65-year-old lady, Rahemadi, was rescued with minor accidents whereas Abdul Rashid Qureshi, 48, was introduced lifeless to the Sion Hospital.
