MUMBAI: Grammy and Oscar-winning artist AR Rahman broke his Ramadan fast and had his iftar supper at Cannes 2019.

Rahman remains in France to promote his directorial Le Musk (India’s very first virtual truth movie) provided by Intel at the Cannes Film Festival. He required to Instagram, where he published a number of photos of himself. At Cannes, he broke his fast at 8: 51 pm.

In one image, Rahman is seen holding a glass and sitting of apple juice and a plate of salad continued the table.

He captioned the image: “8:51 pm iftaar”.

Iftar breaks the day-to-day fast of Ramadan for Muslims worldwide.
