Mumbai: TV actor Karan Oberoi has actually been sent to 14- days judicial custody by an Andheri Court in connection with a supposed rape case versus him.
Oberoi was jailed on May 6.
An FIR was signed up at Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai under areas 376 (rape) and 384 (extortion) of the Indian Penal Code versus Oberoi.
According to the authorities, the actor presumably raped the female on the pretext of weding her.
“Oberoi not only raped the woman and filmed the act but also demanded money from the victim threatening to release the video if she did not pay up,” they stated estimating the FIR.
