The 31-year-old German settled the title after an eager season finale in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
In a Facebook post to enlightening his stunning choice, Rosberg said: “Since 25 years in hustling, it has been my fantasy, my ‘a particular something’ to wind up Formula One World Champion.
“Through the enterprising work, the torment, the compensations, this has been my objective.
“Furthermore, now I’ve made it. I have climbed my mountain, I am on the peak, so this feels right.”
In his note, he discussed the reparations he made all through a “damn outstanding” season and the toll it went up against his life and his family.
Going into the race on Sunday, he knew it could be the last one of his life.
“I anticipated that would esteem all parts of the experience, knowing it may be the last time… And then the lights went out and I had the silliest 55 laps of my life.”
On Monday evening, he said, he picked and told his life partner Vivian and partners, Executive Director Toto Wolff.
