Balanagar: On Thursday, Vijaya Diagnostics godown which is located in front of IDPL Company was gutted in fire. Three fire engines were rushed to the spot by the fire department and the staff managed to control the fire.Although the staff controlled the fire but they could not save the equipments which the godown had for the installation in the company’s new diagnostic centre.A case has been registered and the reason for the fire accident is yet to be investigated. “The value of the property lost due to the accident is yet to be ascertained,” said Satish Kumar, the District Fire Officer.
