Mumbai: The Wadala TT Police detained a guy, termed Sanjay Kumar, for supposedly beating his wife to death earlier this week.
“During the investigation, Sanjay confessed to his crime. He tried to attempt suicide after killing his wife. They married 11 months ago,” stated Rajendra Sangale, Senior Inspector.
Suman, his wife, was angry with Sanjay’s compulsive drinking, authorities said.
A case was registered under divisions 302,309 and 498 (a) of those Indian Penal Code (IPC) and a nearby court has delivered him to judicial custody until May 28.
