Dadar: A 15- year-old lady passed away in a fire that broke out in a building at Dadar Police Station Compound, Dadar (West) on Sunday.

“When the fire broke out, 15 years old Shravani Chavan was alone and the house was locked from outside, as we (parents) were out to attend a marriage ceremony,” victim’s mom stated.

According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the fire broke out around 1: 44 PM on the 3rd flooring of a building at Dadar police headquarters substance.

Eight fire tenders were pushed into action to splash the fire.

The reason for the fire is still unidentified and an examination is underway to determine the cause.
