Sambhal: One woman went missing after she combined with her five friends went to take bath in River Ganga close Ramghat here on Sunday, stated authorities.

Circle Officer Ashok Kumar advised ANI the six kids visited Ramghat. The group entered water and lost management.

Seeing the band drowning, anglers stationed in the bank of this river jumped in the lake. While, five of these were rescued, a woman is still lacking.

“These children came to Ramghat to take a bath without telling their parents. While bathing, they entered deep water and started drowning,” Circle Officer Ashok Kumar advised ANI.

“People nearby could only manage to save five of them and one girl was pulled by the river stream. A search operation is underway,” he included.

All six kids hail from Gunnaur, 14 kilometers from the area of incident.
