Bhirbhum: Poll violence in West Bengal hasn’t ceased to exist after the completion of Lok Sabha elections as a success procession of those BJP in Birbhum has been interrupted, supposedly by TMC employees.
TMC fans on Monday supposedly hurled a bomb at that a ‘Vijay Rally’ of those BJP.
The rally was scheduled to move from Murudeshwar Assembly constituency until Lokpur College here.
When BJP’s rally attained the TMC celebration office in the region, fans of the latter supposedly threw a bomb at that the procession.
Locals stated that police employees of Mayureswar Police Station were current at the episode spot.
The authorities stated that no accidents were reported and also an enquiry into the issue was ordered.
Birbhum Superintendent of Police, Shyam Singh stated, “The investigation in the incident is underway. No one has been arrested till now.”
During general elections, the BJP along with the TMC were included in violent clashes during each of the seven stages. Both the parties often traded blame on the problem.
In that the Lok Sabha elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee-headed TMC won 22 chairs as against 34 in 2014, although the BJP has made deep inroads in the condition bagging 18, in comparison with the amount of two chairs in 2014.
