Nagaur: A 17-year old girl supposedly committed suicide by placing herself ablaze in Makrana region of Nagaur district Saturday, per month after her daddy had registered a situation of sexual harassment from a childhood.
Makrana SHO Jitender Singh Charan stated, “We received a complaint from a man that his daughter set herself on fire after sprinkling kerosene on herself.”
An FIR was lodged and post-mortem in your entire body completed, he explained.
The police officer stated that the girl’s dad had registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act per month ago from a childhood.
“The accused was arrested after that,” he included.
