Now after the phenomenal success of Kabir Singh, rumor has it that Shahid Kapoor has increased his fee to Rs. 35 crore per film!
Shahid Kapoor has taken himself to another new level of fame and popularity, after the golden success of his recently released film Kabir Singh – which made Rs 240 crore at Bollywood Box Office.
Recently a report by India’s top Mumbai Mirror has revealed that Shahid after the success of his film – has now hiked his fees. Buzz has it that from now onwards he will charge no less than Rs 35 crore for his upcoming films. If this is true, then Shahid Kapoor will join the league of Bollywood’s highest paid actors.
“Shahid has increased his fee to a whopping Rs. 35 crore per project and it is due to the stunning success of his Kabir Singh”.
On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor is overwhelmed by the ultimate appreciation and love by the public – the second greatest he has received after a decade since Jab We Met. He has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his fans in India and worldwide.
“You people have given me wings to fly,” said the actor in his heartfelt thank you note to the fans.
If the buzz is to believe, then Shahid Kapoor would now rank among the highest paid Bollywood actors, next to Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Hrithik Roshan who charge around Rs 40-45 crore per film.
According to sources, Shahid’s previous fee was around 15 crore per project, but now after the golden success of Kabir Singh, the handsome actor is on Cloud 9!
Apart from Shahid, the Kabir Singh’s Preethi, Kiara Advani is also receiving so much love and appreciation from the public. She has stunned the audience with her charm, innocence, and flora and fauna in her first major Bollywood film.
