Chandigarh: Enforcement groups in Punjab have seized cash, liquor and psychotropic compounds valued at Rs 283 crore after the design standard procedure entered force, Chief Electoral Officer S. Karuna Raju stated on Thursday.

He stated the monitoring groups had seized liquor valued at Rs 10 crore, 8,102 kg of psychotropic compounds (Rs 218 crore) and important products worth Rs 22.56 crore besides seizing unaccounted Rs 32.07 crore cash till Thursday.

The officer stated 3,743 individuals have actually been determined who can develop disruption on the day of ballot on May 19.

He stated 97 percent of the certified weapons have actually been given up and 142 unlawful arms and 873 unlawful ammos were likewise taken.
