HYDERABAD- A donkey was electrocuted in Bhatai Nagar as an open electric wire fell on it. Following the incident, several personnel of Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) were charged for killing a donkey on Tuesday. Abid Sher Ali, Minister of State for Water and Power offered his arrest after some heated arguments with Sindh Police.
Pronouncing officials of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) responsible for the death of the donkey, Sindh police booked the personnel of HESCO under charges of negligence. Abid Sher Ali arrived at the police station in Hyderabad as he came to know of the charges. Putting blame on provincial minister for the incident, Abid Sher Ali offered himself for arrest.
