LAHORE – Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif said that Narendra Modi has no reason to object to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He said that Pakistan was in need of a friend and we are thankful to China that it proved itself to be our true friend. “We are proud of our friend” CM said. Talking to the seminar on CPEC held at CM House in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif said that some people are not happy about CPEC and criticizing it. However, we as a nation must avail this great opportunity to its greatest extent. Sun Weidong, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan said that Pakistan will benefit from CPEC greatly. “It’s good that there is consensus on the project.” He added. He said that China will help Pakistan in eradicating the terrorism.
