US State department spokesperson, Jeff Rathke said that India and Pakistan should take steps to reduce tensions between the two countries.

“We encourage India and Pakistan to take careful steps to reduce tension, we believe that India and Pakistan each has a mutual interest in threat modeled by extremism” he said.

Nothing was said on the Indian Army operation in Myanmar.
