Narendra Modi, Indian Prime Minister honored Islam for emphasize on Education.

Talking to an addressees in the launch of the book “Education of Muslims’ by J.S Rajput who is a historian and Sirajuddin Qureshi who is president of India Islamic Culture Centre.

Modi said that the word ‘ilm’ is seen 800 times in Quran. Being the most recurring word after ‘Allah’, shows the importance of education in Islam.

Modi also communicated good wishes for the month of Ramazan to the participants of the launch.

Modi also said that Modernity cannot be ignored by any community or region. We have to welcome modernity, or we will not be able to catch up with the rapidly moving world.

Modi talked about the eradication of polio in India and said that India has fought with polio and it can share its experience with Pakistan to get rid of the crippling sickness.
