LAHORE- Arrest warrant has been issue been issued against Meera by a local court in Lahore. It was issued due to her illegal offence, she was ordered by the court to present herself in court on 17 July 2015.

Attiqur Rehman who self-proclaimed to be Meera’s husband filed a petition stating that despite being already in marriage with him, Meera tied knot with another man named Naveed which is illegal and against the essence of Islam.

Attiqur Rehman also claimed that a house in Defence worth million rupees was confiscatd by Meera therefore strict action should be taken against her under the law.

It’s pertinent to state that several notices have been issued to Meera to appear before the court, but she never attended the court proceedings.

At the end of the hearing, judge issued an arrest warrant of Meera and Defence police was ordered to bring her before the court on July 17.
